Water in skincare formula demands the use of harsh preservatives. Water encourages the growth of harmful bacteria, and skincare products with a high concentration of water also require a high concentration of preservatives.
Are preservatives bad for your skin? While some skincare products preservatives are more toxic than others, no preservatives are good for us and ideally it is best to avoid them by purchasing skincare formulations that do not require preservatives. I’m Fabulous Cosmetics adore using pure cold-pressed plant oils for our daily beauty + skincare rituals. Not only do oils make your skin silky smooth but they have a high concentration of vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and antioxidants to assist cells in being toned, maintaining elasticity and retaining moisture. Most Lotions and creams commercially produced have water as the main ingredient.

I’m Fabulous Cosmetics approach to waterless beauty is based on offering effective products that aren’t diluted with tons of water, an inactive and a bacteria-breeding ingredient.
Aloe Vera is the liquid base for our products, not water! Did you know that 88% to 90% of most skincare products is water? Did you know that your skin is basically water-proof? That is why you don’t soak up all the water in the bathtub or the swimming pool.

Your skin is more lipophilic (oil-loving) rather than hydrophilic (water-loving).
Please read the skincare product label, and if the first ingredient is water, this will be a sign that most of this product is not beneficial to your skin. Also, if the remaining ingredients are composed of synthetic chemicals, it is easy to see why many products you have used in the past have done little to improve your skin.

Aloe Vera is a powerful nutrient, a complex combination of anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and moisturizing polysaccharides. Scientists are still trying to discover how this combination of phyto-chemicals are capable of trans-epidermal penetration and transportation. Many topical medicines are now formulated with an aloe vera base to ensure penetration for medicinal performance.
Aloe vera can fight acne, prevent dark spots, and even slow down the signs of aging.
Skincare products without water are best because they can be made with toxic preservatives, that will enter your bloodstream.
